Gov’t Post Graduate College ,Abbottabad is the 1^st 

prestigious instiution in public sector in Hazara Division , 

working under secretary to Gov’t of N.W.F.P. Higher 

Education Deptt. The Director of Higher Education is the

immediate controlling authority.

Principal of the college is the head of institution and

chairman of Acdamic Council. He represents the college at 

university as well as the education Boards. He Discharges the

duties inconsltion with college acadmic council. He sign issues 

certificates and runs the college with assistance of various 

committees. The members of these commettiees are 

responsible for co-curricular jobs given to them by the 

Principal.
